I am so excited about 2022’s spring and summer trends. It’s that time of the year when we want to get all dressed up for almost everything. We know that during the spring and summer months there is always a time and place to be extra fabulous. It’s the time we show some skin, the time for “less is more” and the time when we wear simple, luxurious and gorgeous clothes and outfits. You can be as adventurous as you like with your spring/summer trends or, just as basic as you feel.

This is indeed the season for color! Bright color palettes are perfect for this time of year. Lime greens and neon yellows are popping right now. If you are afraid of these colors, tone them down with accessories. Listen, spring/summer months are the only time we get to be free with our clothing. Let’s use our time wisely.

Cut Outs.
Designers are slashing silhouettes so you can bare as much as you dare. Another day, another cutout piece – or at least that’s how it feels right now. Just about every piece of garment I look at has some sort of cut out. Let’s embrace it! Let’s make the bold decision to be BOLD and try this look.
Feathers.
How do I describe this trend? Well, let’s see, the texture feels like a fluffy throw pillow, soft and plush. I’m seeing this type of fabric used for the most basic outfits this season. Don’t run from it. Let’s give the look a try. Let’s add a little bit of party and pizzazz to your closet. Just know that just like feathers, this style is lightweight and very easy to pull off.

Mini Dresses.
It has not been that long since we’ve spoken about minis. In fact, in our last blog about babydoll dresses, minis were the hot topic. So, there is not much to say here except, “minis are here to stay”! Let’s show our legs, legs, legs this season.

Pink.
Yup, the pink hues are here in 2022, adding a refreshing zing to your summer wardrobe. If the brights weren’t enough this hue is also a must. Don’t be scared ladies, you may opt for any shade of pink from baby to neon. Just choose the one that best suits you because head-to-toe Barbie-toned power-dressing is very much in this season.
Prints.
As the sun begins to shine, my style senses start to tingle with the need to try out different spring/ summer fashion trends and prints. Whether it’s vibrant mini dresses or casual lounge sets, the opportunity to add more color and print to my wardrobe is presented through this trend. So, you print scary girls, start off with a blouse or two then work your way in. We will be your guide!
